A VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) is supported via a two-way satellite ground station with antennas up to 3 meters. Most VSAT antennas range from 90cm to 1.2m with bandwidths ranging between 64Kbps to 4Mbps. KTW bandwidths are 2Mbps and 4Mbps.
VSAT uses geostationary satellites offering virtual global coverage. Communication is possible between a remote earth stations (terminals) to a master earth station called “hub” or to other terminals in the ground.
