RLTL offers complete turnkey service for the telecommunication industry such as site clearing, building access roads, installation of security fencing and constructing tower foundations. RLTL can furnish and install shelters, generators, propane tanks, grounding and site utilities, e.g. electricity. RLTL has the knowledge and personnel to safely perform tower, antenna and equipment installations.
In 2012 and 2013, RLTL was awarded a contract by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (“MCMC”) under their Time 3 Universal Service Provision project to build 75 cellular towers situated across various state in Peninsula Malaysia, namely in Selangor, Johor, Penang and Terengganu.
These tower sites are part of the shared facilities utilized by the 3 major cellular operators in Malaysia to provide mobile service coverage to rural areas within Malaysia.
Time 3 Univeral Service Provision project is part of the National Broadband Initiatives (NBI) introduced by Malaysia government and MCMC, to ensure users in rural and remote areas have access to mobile services.
RLTL had worked closely with Ericsson to setup two Telecommunication Capsule Towers, together with the latest Radio Base Station Technology for the sole purpose of infrastructure sharing by cellular network providers.
The height of the Capsule Tower is approximately 14 meters. The Capsule Tower has a composite cover that completely encapsulates all equipment, including antennas and microwave transmission units.
